a little white smoke
it was 30 degrees this morning and when i started the truck i had 3-4 seconds of white smoke
i got it 2 weeks ago and until now it was warmer should i be worried? need new glow plugs? ill also plug it in tonight to check what is going on if it is plugged in i use a timer that has the truck plugged in 2 hours before i leave the house should i keep it plugged under 40? thanks |

I dont think you need to worry much about the white smoke. I've seen lots of guys say their trucks smoke white for a couple seconds after a cold startup. Someone will respond with info on why it smokes. As for plugging it in, i dont plug mine in unless its gonna get below freezing and i've started it at 10 degrees before without being plugged in.
