how many inchs is stock exhaust on a 99 and how loud would a straight pipe make my truck

Not sure on the diameter of the stock but a muffler delete will give you a good sounding stock exhaust.. try youtube for some sound examples.

3.5 inch for the stock

i dont want all the cops to pull me over fo it being to loud im young with tinted windows in a big black truck they pull me over as it is

it does sound awesome i didnt sound that loud just real deep and you here the turbo alot more i think im going for it

I did mine....can't tell the diff. with the windows up, roll the right side window down and the turbo can be heard more than it did w/muffler...I like it!

were can i get a pipe to do this i dont want to weld i can get the clamps but not the pipe at my shop

Check ebay, I got a 4" 90* pretty cheap. Clamps too!

would a muffler shop sell the pipe and flair it or is that to big for them
