emissions test

i have a 99 f250 i have to go get the emissions done on it it has stock exhaust but not cat will i pass

Did it come with a cat from the factory? Some did, some didn't.

ct a guy at my shop told me they dont have cats but my 96 psd had one so i think a 99 should

The 7.3's seem to all be hit or miss. CA emissions, auto or manual, etc. Best way to tell is look on the sticker under the hood and see if it says "CATALYST" on it. If so, your supposed to have one, if not.....

i dont have that sticker so the test is $20 hope i pass if not got to go get a cat some were

Haha, my sticker is gone too. Thought maybe you would get lucky. I had stock size exhaust on my truck when I got it, so I am hoping that my truck did NOT have one.

i took another look just now my exhaust looks to be all untouched so it my not have one im going monday so well see then
