cheap mods on my truck

i was looking for a muffler shop to delete my muffler for 2 weeks and nobody can bend 3.5 around me so when my filter came today i went to car-quest
60$ and 45 min later (30$ for filter on eBay free shipping and 30$ for a piece of 45 and a clamp)
my truck sounds great (the wife will hate me tomorrow at 6 when i start it lol)

i would watch the way your pipe exits, mine was like that and when i had my rear sliding window open all i smelled was exhaust, if you dont have a slider tho it shouldnt be a problem. it may also resonate off the box and make a vibration. nice clean install tho!

it is down and in an angle towards the passenger back wheel
i like how it sounds and no vibration
ill get a 4 inch as soon as my work pics up

ya i hear ya on the work man... going to school sucks... sucks money out of your pocket... the 3.5 inch works fine for me for right now

You shouldn't need to bend the pipe a straight peice of 3.5 welded in at slight angle in and out to the existing pipes will work just fine that's what mine is.

man i cant wait to weld mine up to the stock exit, dumping straight under the truck sounds ridiculous lol.

did not know that
all shops told me we don't have 3.5 pipe or we cant bend it
so it will be like that until i can get a 4 inch

Yeah thats all you would have needed but most shops don't want to do it because its a pain in the @$$ to get these trucks up on a lift and if their lift isn't big enough they have to crawl underneath. IMO that would seem like easy money to me but who knows.
