early 99?

hi guys how do you tell a early 99 to a late one?

An easy way is to look at the power stroke badges. If you have a small badge at the front of your fenders that says POWER STROKE over a V8 then you probably have an early '99. The later models have black and white/grey (late '99s have some red on there too) badges on the doors that say POWER STROKE.
Also the build date would be before 12/98. For other indicators look at the early '99 discussion part of this forum.
