buy a 2000 or wait for 2001-02

I am looking at a 2000 extra cab 7.3 6 speed Lariat long box 4x4. Would there be a reason to wait til I find a 2001 or 2002? This 2000 has 120k on it and is in exelent condt.

Thanks, I am new guy to diesel.

2000 most likely has forged rods in. So if your planing on modifying this truck then this is a plus.

But it, most would rather have the 2000 and older for the forged rods!
