can the uvch be loose but pass buzz test
I was wondering, I have posted a lot on a 40 mph shake, miss or shudder.
I have had the drivers valve cover off but not the pass side(replaced #8 injector). I had scuffy do a buzz and a cct test. I passed. I know its possible to pass, but still have a week injector. Could the uvch connection be loose, as we know they can be, but still pass these two tests? I know I will have to pull the cover to see if its loose, But maybe it cant be loose or bad and pass the buzz? I think i am asking this correctly. I just dont want to pull the cover for nothing, if it cant be an issue? thx if it could be I willpull it off ealry before work. thx |

You don't have to pull the cover to check the connection of the UVCH where it comes loose. This connection is at the rear inside of the valve cover. Yes it is possible, I would use some dielectric grease and make sure they are good n tight.
Have you gotten the truck up in the air and see if you can define where it is coming from. Get it up in the air and get the wheels spinning. Is it a rotational noise or when you hit a bump? |

Check the harness going over the drivers side valve cover. Take the bolt out of the connector and disconnect the plug the roll the plug over and look at the wires that touch or rub on the valve cover to see it one or more is rubbed through. I had one wire that was exposed on mine and it would run like crap and the CEL light would come on. Since I taped that wire up no problems.
