Turbo/exhaust question

On a 2000 7.3 what is the exhaust outlet diameter on the turbo? If I order 4in turbo back exhaust, will the turbo down pipe be 4 inch? How does that work?

The down pipe will be 4".

Yeap the v band clamp will mate the turbo flange and the downpipe flange together

Yep and it is a tight fit. I would recommend keeping the stock down pipe and going 4" from there back. The 4" downpipe will cause you to loose some bottom end . I tow fairly heavy when I tow so this is not something I want. But you don't even need a 4" system because the restriction isn't in the size of the plumbing it is in the cheap muffler Ford used. But that is another subject.
