But for $29 a screwdriver works just as well.

I have replaced my filter about every 9-10K miles.

I use the handles of a pair of channel lock pliers. Just stick the tips down in a pair of opposing holes and twist.

So ya i have a 120,000 miles on my truck and i get about 300 miles off a tank. Im guessing i need to change the fuel filter? I dont even know if it has ever been done. What is a good filter to buy for the 7.3?

Oh My Gosh!!! Yeah I would say you better change it!! I only use WIX filters or Motorcraft. WIX can be had at Napa. Save your old lid because the new filter will have the filter built into the cap. I do mine every other oil change, 10-12K. It's like asking how often to change oil, everyone has their own idea and then you have what Ford says. I trust Blackstone labs and I know that at 5K I am throwing away oil with a lot of life left in it.
