Custom tunes and tranny relearn?

I have a 02 F350 auto with TW tuned TS chip. I found out that every time I switch the chips positions the tranny needs to go through a re learn process or it shifts funky. Is this normal? After you put the trans through the re learn it shifts fine, but as soon as you flip the knob to a different tune the trans is back to shifting funking until you run it through the re learn. I've had a shelf TS 4 pos chip in my old 2000 F350 and never had any issues like this. So I need to know if the tune needs tweaking or if this is something I have to do every time I flip the chip?? If that's the case then that will be a pain . I'd ask TW, but he is hard to get ahold of.

Thanks

Never heard of this "relearn" I would call TW and see what he says. Different tunes will affect shifting differently but it shouldn't be acting any different after several minutes of driving.

Ok thanks. We down loaded the procedure for the re learn and after following the steps the trans acts and shifts completely normal, until you change the tunes. Then you have to go through the re learn process over again. I will call TW. Thanks.
