2001 f350 dually gas tank problem/location

i bought a diamond eye 5" exhaust and after getting it almost all on, the rear section of the exhaust won't fit because of the gas tank being right in front of the trailer hitch, it doesn't seem like the tank should be in this location, any pics of your stock gas tanks/location? thanks.

well i called a buddy of mine that works at the dealership[ and he said that some trucks had an option called cab and chassis or something and it puts the gas tank right under the rear of the bed, so the exhaust is routed in front of the rear tire just dumped until i can have a buddy cut and fab up the exhaust the way it should route.
