Did you run out of fuel?
just a suggestion, but I recently ran out of fuel, and I was amazed at how long it took to clear the air out of the lines. this is what I did
1. replace fuel filter (good idea anyways) 2. prime the fuel pump by turning the key 3-4 times. I could hear the air working thru the pump. 3. crack the fuel filter top. you will hear air escape 4. prime again 5. crack the filter again 6. try to start. I did this 2-3 times before it would fire. it ran real rough and the air worked its way out. each time i cracked the filter, i could hear air escape. the last time, it was just a quick spurt of fuel. I let the truck sit for 20 minutes, and it fired. a good battery charger is NEEDED! I have brand new interstates and they couldent keep up. good luck! |

You don't have to open the fuel filter. I've had to cycle mine several times before I could build any pressure.
