just filled up with 23gallons of b-5 diodiesel

what should I watch for, I already bought a new fuel filter just in case the filter clogs up. does mileage increase or decrease, what about performance, for the record it was the same price as regular diesel.

Wouldnt worry about it. Legally anything up to b 20 doesnt have to be labeled im pretty sure. Prolly not the first time youve ran biodiesel

in canada you can only get it at few places localy and i worked close by one of the stations that carried it.. so i ran it for about 2 months. i seemed to get better mileage though i never hand calculated it. also truck seemed to run a bit quieter, and it cost about the same as reg diesel.

you will most likely have to change your fuel filter after the first tank.

Where abouts in BC are you from? I have only seen bio diesel at one place in the lower mainland but have never ran it in the truck.

haha another canadian eh! I live in White Rock, but i was workin out in burnaby at the time and unitied petroleum products carries it (right by the hwy #1). its a commericial cardlock but anyone can get it there.

we should gather some local powerstroke guys and hit up BD diesel in may... to many dodges at the last meet.

I agree about gathering some local powerstroke guys and hitting up BD. I was at the last 2 BD dyno days and its mostly dodges there which sucks. Did you run your truck at BD's last meet?

Funny thats why I didnt run my truck last time. Now that Ive got the tuner I would like to run it in may if I can get there early enough. I hear you gotta be there super early to sign up and it fills up fast.

yea this is true! my buddy was runing his dodge and he dragged me there and i was super hung over! lol

bio wasnt much differance for me. i mean if there was a station down the block from me then i would maybe run it more often. just make sure you get a new fuel filter if your gonna try it out because the bio in a sense "cleans" out the sediment in your tank.

B5... I would not even worry about anything.

Above B20, then carry a filter with you for a few tanks just incase.
