03 fuel gauge

Well, found out the hard way that when my truck gets to 1/8 tank, she is EMPTY!!!!!!! Anyone else have issue with guage not reading right?

Mine on my 99 never really reads exact it always seems to be at least 1/8 off. I just reset my odometer evertime and use my guage as a rough estimate. I also would never let a vehicle get below 1/4 tank but thats just me.

Yep, I have an 03 too and same problem, along with a bunch of other, lets call them quirks. I just set my trip meter so I dont end up stuck on the side of the road again. Do your door sensors work? Mine like to tell me that the door is open, when it is clearly not lol!

Daddys money, I got that same problem with my door sensors, but it only happens every so often, bugs the S*** outta me!

yeah mine will jump around. its nice to see it gains fuel as I go. Its always off.

i also just found out the other night that my gauge is off in my 99. thank God i ran out of fuel next to the gas station i was trying to get to. anyone know of any fixes for this as it could cause a pretty big pain in the *** problem?

Mine has that very same problem. I use the trip meter and zero it every time I fill up. That is a lot more accurate.

well 4 the door sensors all you need to do is spray some wd40 or somthin similar into the door latch and that fixes that
