keyless entry

so i just bought my 2001 250/7.3 and the dealer did not have the clicker for the keyless entry, other than going to the ford dealership and breaking the bank where else can i get the clicker and how would i make it work for my truck.

Well, if your sure the truck has keyless entry its simple.... go to ebay and buy the appropriate ford clicker(s). To program insert the key and cycle between off and on (8) times, you will hear the locks go up and down... when they do just press a button on the clicker(s) and your all set. Keep in mind, you have to program all the clickers at that time, when you program just one it will override the other.... hope that helped.

im pretty sure it did. its a 2001 lariat, it has everything else. thanks for the help

do the 10 dollar ebay ones actually work? ive seen them on there but i know some of that ebay stuff doesnt always work.

I have had 100% success with the remotes and keys that I've bought off of ebay. If they are not OEM, they are a perfect duplicate.
