injector brass washer

The injector brass washer, do you put that on the injector first then insatll the injector? Do you put it i the head then stick the injector in? I put an injector in from beans last nite. It went in attached to the injector, i read somewhere that said put the washer in the hole first? Mine seemed to be stuck on the injector tight enough. I left it?
cool?

On the injector is correct. It will seat correctly to the head when the injector is tightened-down.

agreed, on the injector, when I do injectors on our tractors I always put a coat of anitseize on, then the washer, and coat the washer, it holds the washer on for install and makes them much easier for removal later.
