got some codes and results of tests need input

well went to a buddys shop and did the injector tests. all buzzed good and loud. did the contribution test got p0284. ran a self diagnostic test and got p0476.

i know that the injector code comes back to #8 and that the other code is for the ebvp performance. i do have white smoke on first start of the day or ifr it has sat most of the day. i also have a constant knock that stays with the rpms the only time it quits is when i let off of the go pedal when im going done the road. i also dont hear it at first start til its been running for a few minutes. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys

thats funny cuz my cummins came w/ a flat bed reserve for a chevy or ford lol.....
anyways i hav the same code (p0476)as well on my wife's 7.3....any help would b great.

cheack the wire haeness going to to cover to injectors and glow plugs
is the cheak engine light cum on

That injector, or the UVCH to that injector, is done.

Ignore the EBPV code, unless you have really cold winters.
