What is this?

Does this look familiar to anybody? or is it garbage? I found it sitting to the right of the passanger valve cover, under all the wiring closest to the valley. It is copper and aprox 3/4" long and 1/4" thick where the threads are, the top of it is melted.

That is a piece of an old solenoid for glow plugs. that is one of the posts.
