Oil pressure guage ~ real or?
A friend in my office says that the oil pressure gauge Ford used in these trucks was nothing more that a signal sender that essentially makes the gauge an idiot light... supposedly if there is at least 5lbs of pressure, then the gauge in the dash reads in the middle of the band... has anyone heard this... is the gauge a "true pressure" gauge?
If it isn't I'm on my way to buy a replacement... I want to see a true pressure reading...
