Oil question

I'm gonna change the oil in my truck today and i've heard that, i think its shaeffers 5-40, is good to use year round, helps with cold starting some too.

On their site i also noticed a 7000 series and a 9000 series oil. Which do i want to use?

O just a thought. I put synthetic in my truck and thats when my leak started

What I use is great. I have easy start ups.
