Blower not turning on

Yes I did a search. Not a lot of helpful discriptions. So where should i start and how much voltage should be on the resitor and which relays or fuses power this thing

Fuse 22(10 amp and key on) is power to your blower relay coil ,fuse 23(40 amp -always hot) is power to relay contacts to motor,the wires that go through fan speed switch are the ground side of truck.
Hi speed is 0.3 ohms,med. is 0.7 ohms,low is 1.7 ohms resistance.
If no blown fuses-check fan switch,they get hot sometimes and melt,but if so replace wiring to switch or you'll be doing this again next year.

yea that does ill check it out tomorrow.Is there any vacuam lines under the hood beacause worked up till the shop installed my new injectors. So maybe they missed a hose

Your fan is all electrical-but your vac pump will control your cab duct dampers and auto hubs for 4 wheel drive.
Maybe check all plugs/wiring around engine compartment-they may have pulled something by accident or shorted something out when working on injectors,just check for obvious things first-ie:fuses,etc.

Does it work on high? You probably need a new blower motor resistor, or they knocked the plug where it goes into the resistor off... Passenger side of the truck, round black thing with an electrical connection going to it.

I recenlty replaced my blower motor, well, it was a few month ago. A couple weeks ago, i noticed that it now only works on high. This is caused by a faulty resistor? I'll try to find it, but pics would be great if available. Can this be picked up at any local parts store?

Sounds like a resistor to me... and it's a dealer only item. Costs all of $12.



It's behind the white plug right there. My wiring side of the connector fell apart when I removed it from the resistor, so I had to make my own using standard clips who's technical name I can't think of at the moment...

Well, the crazy thing is that it had set for 4 days,when this happened.My defrost starting working today, when i started my truck. So, then a couple of miles down the road all postions started working. It confused me. Anyone I would love to fix what ever caused this.Also the pressure dosen't seem as high as it should be

Sounds like your resistor. Some days I'd have 2 speeds, while others I'd only have high.
