On the Road and broke down

I have water and antifreeze leaking from the engine around the Harmonic balancer. I am in Arizona about 50 west of tucson. Can any one help me Please???

Are you sure its not the water pump? running down around the Harmonic balancer?

It could be I am not familar with the 7.3 engine at all. Should I put in some stop leak to get home I have another 1,000 miles to go?

Can I put stop leak into the radiator and temporarily fix it until I get home?
It is not leaking all that bad yet.

wish I was in that area I would be glad to help you out!nothing wrong with stop leak.I have used it many times.It is probably just the water pump.I would try the stop leak and see what happens.I dont see why you could not make it home as long as you keep an eye on the temp and water level.I will say a prayer for ya.

To answer the question I doubt stop leak will fix the problem it usually doesn't work on water pumps. Plus all it does is cause other problems. Your 1,000 miles away from home. I am feeling for you, I wish I was near you I would be there in no time to give you a hand or at least tow the truck to my place to replace the pump for you. But I am 1500 miles from where your at. But it is most likely the water pump and needs to be replaced.

I would not it all depends on how much it is leaking it probably leaking out the seal grab a hold of the shaft or fan and see if you have a wobble in it
