Overhead temperature sensor relocation
If you have some kind of grille cover for when it's cold like I do, it might cover up your overhead trip computer's outdoor temperature sensor. It might not get all the outside air and could get some engine air. Mine did and always was warmer than outdoor temp. So I moved it. All I did was move it farther to the left of the truck (while looking forward) just behind a hole in the header panel that is behind the outer portion of the grill. Easy to do. Just removed a plastic push rivet holding the harness onto the header panel, drilled some new holes, and pushed it in there. Took a 1/4 and 3/16" drill bit.
