Wait to start light
I think I need to replace my gpr cause when my truck sits at work all day in the cold not plugged in it has alot of white smoke come out after I wait 30 seconds to a minute after the light goes out. So my question is if I wait for the light to go out and turn the ignition off and do it again will the gpr fire the glow plugs again to help heat the cylinder up more?

I hear a buzz like noise when the light goes out. Very quiet though.

White smoke is normal, mine does it kinda bad when its cold. Whitish/blueish smoke. Like others have said, the GP's will stay on up to 2 minutes even after the light is off.
