front leaf spring quiz

I have a 2000 f350 srw w-208k on itI was wondering if I could install the "severe duty service" leaf spring kit offered as an option on newer trucks from the factory vs. a leveling kit. The weight of the diesel over the front axle has probably worn on the originals. I havent checked with the dealer on cost to know if it would be cost prohibitive vs. a leveling kit. I know on the factorys build site it says this option "will increase ride height". Wouldnt it be a straight bolt in replacement?

I appreciate the quick return on the info...sharp excursion- hate to knock my favorite brand but they should have reduced numbers in manufacturing vs. killing the model. I would buy one today new vs. the wifes yukon...
