fuel system question

i was wondering if there is a screen or something between the filter and the injectors. my #1 injector is really loud(as in knock or cackle), so im wondering if there could be something block that side and since #1 is at the end of that rail if it could be getting starved of fuel. thanx guys

I thought the #1 injector was in the front of the head. They should get fuel first. And if you are talking about the one in the back of the head. It gets fuel last.

Maybe you have low fuel pressure or a clogged fuel filter that is not supplying enough fuel to the heads. By the time it is reaching the last injector it might not have enough fuel.

Yea passenger is back to front. Driver is front to back. That's why the #8 injector sometimes cackles. At the fuel pickup there are some screens in the tank. Then the pump, then filter.
