cranking till she starts

I got a 99 7.3 when i go to start it it will just cranking for 5 or 10 seconds before it starts. it used to do this once every couple of months but i havent been driving it as much now it is all the time. a buddy told me about a resivore up by the powersteering unit?????

im thinking your starter is just worn out, but your friend was saying your high pressure oil pump was draining and not having enough pressure to fire the injectors, i disagree.
