tranny question

im looking at an 03 7.3 selling locally. its advertised with an HD 5 spd auto. i did a brief search and did not see anything about the torqueshift being behind the 7.3 from factory. did that ever happen in 03?

this truck is also advertised as an 03, 7.3 v10 powerstroke with an HD 5spd auto. so i can clearly understand this being a bonehead ad...

WFT Sounds like the person placing the ad doesnt know anything about trucks. Never heard of a 5 spd auto behind a 7.3 though..

i know its a PSD, it has the badge and looks like a black one, i have heard black indicates a 6.0 but a few were used on 7.3. or maybe its the other way around...
