my all stock 2002 has been having a surging problem. it does when i try to acclereate with a light throttle. it does it both cold and once the truck is warm and when it does it i can give it more throttle and it'll clear up... does anybody know what this might be??

I am having the same issue with my 01.
I have been told by several reputable repair shops there is a probability that the fuel pump pickup sock may be restricted from algea build up in the tank.
I am going to drop the tank and see what it looks like then clean the sock.
Cant buy the sock seperately or I would just replace it.
My truck sat for 2 years before I found and purchased it so it sounds reasonable to me.....
