So here it is , mid winter, snow on the ground and 20F. I want to take out my fuel bowl assembly and replace all the O rings, gaskets etc, to prevent any problems come spring. I've read of leaking bowl drain valves , valley fires from leaking fuel bowl heater connections etc. The truck doesn't get driven in the winter unless the roads are dry, due to all the salt. So it doesn't need to be done in 1 day.
Does anybody make a complete kit with all the needed O rings , etc. that need to be changed ? I will need all viton as I run 100% biodiesel , I can get all the O rings from Mcmaster-Carr if I need to order the sizes individually. As a thought I can offer a Viton O ring kit to cover the costs of buying each separate size in Viton. Let me know if there is any interest . Sorry for the long post.
