why are injectors so expensive?

I don't really understand this. I have purchased sets of injectors for gas cars from places liek rc engineering etc...even huge 650cc injectors are only about $115 a piece.
And these are good quality pieces too...

What is it about diesel injectors that warrant their price?

the PSD injectors have about 40 moving parts in them that are made to VERY tight tolerances... there is alot more that goes into these injectors then anyother injector

Our injectors are BOTH Fuel Injectors AND Injection Pumps...

On other diesel engines, to price compare, you'd need to add the cost of a new pump to the set of injectors.
