Question about EBPV delete

Is it possible to just remove the butterfly and leave the ped alone and EBPV shaft alone? I have done allot of searching and everyone either guts the housing and plugs up the stock ped or orders a non EBPV ped.

I am wondering if just drilling the rivits out and removing the butterfly is possible without causing a leak in the stock ped. I would like to do something to it because I feel it is working too much right now and needs to be removed.... I will also be doing the wicked wheel and ptp 5 inch exhaust at the same time.

Thanks all.

Why don't you want to remove the rod?

And you can't just drill the rivets out, you've got to grind them off.
