injectors early 99

I have a early 99 with 300000+ on it and just now when you start when cold it makes alot of white and blue smoke and feels like it has a miss, once ut gets warmed up good it goes away but still does not run as good as I think it should. the injestor also sound very noisey even with fuel additives, A local mechanic said that a injector is going bad and he wants me to spend 300 each on new ones. I have found many places selling rebuilt stock or even modified ones for way cheaper. The truck has high miles but I think the motor is still strong. Starts good on very cold days without being plugged in. so i dont want to spend 2000+ on new injectors for a old truck but have heard bad stories about rebuilds. Who sells good reliable rebuilds. I also seen beans has reman stage 1 single shot for around 1000$ would be nice to get new injectors and a little power increase and better milage. whats everybodys thoughts

I would get some rebuilt ones from beans or swamps. DO NOT buy those cheap ones on ebay.

You will gain HP and 2-3mpg's with singles. Also your HPOP is getting weak I would think..single shots require less oil than reworked splits..

just got a new HPOP last spring and wish I would have been on here then and done some research, could have gotten an adreniline pump for less the what the shop charged me for a stock rebuild. Going with the stock rebuilds because will save alot of money and will just buy a chip to add power.
