question about diablo sport chip

I have a 2000 PSD and i just bought a dP tuner for it. It had a diablo sport chip in it, my PCM four digit code is NVK4, my parents just bought an 02 PSD with a PCM code of VDH2. I was wondering if someone could tell me if i could put the diablo sport chip in my parents truck. Thanks in advance, dean.

Should be good to go for 99-03 f series trucks!! Plug it in and find out.

Diablo Chip

Ok, i cleaned the PCM prongs in the 02 psd the same way jody wanted the pcm cleaned for his chip. I put the chip in the truck noticed that the glow plug light would not go out, i waited at least a minute and tried to start the truck anyway. It did not start, pulled the chip out and the truck fired right up.

Yep that's what happens. You also get the water in fuel light, and the tach won't work. They made some electronical changes in 2002. In 2002 ford went to a DPC-462 PCM for the federal trucks (Non-california). NVK is in the DPC-422 family.
