mod decision

I would like to get a remote start for my truck but I'm also wanting to get pillar gauges. Need help deciding which ones to get first. Using income tax return money on custom tunes so no need for that choice.

Gauges for sure, with your new tunes. Want to watch your temps. cause once you get that chip your right foot will get heavy!

I don't think so. I know the dealership where I work at was doing cheap remote starts for 150 bucks but I don't know if they were diesel compatable or not.

Remote start is like leather vs cloth seats... nice but not really nessasary.

Gauges are like a heart monitor on a hospitle patient... if every thing is not exactly up to stock spec's, you gotta know how the patient (your truck) is responding to treatment (the future chip/tuner install)

Truck is currently just sitting anyways and won't be ready to be on the road for at least the end of the month. I'm going to get gauges and a remote start, just can't decide what first. I will probably get the gauges first. Still not sure.
