stock turbo

Just wondering what is the stock turbo on a 02 f250 7.3l.....just got the truck a month or two ago... it says garrett on the turbo.. not sure if that is stock or not..

Garrett is stock. Could be a 38r also which i doubt. Factory intake?

The stock turbo is indeed a Garret, but they offer more than one turbo that it could be. The stocker is a GTP38, they also offer a "drop in" ball-bearing turbo that is a bit bigger, it is a GTP38R (or GT38R depending on who you are talking to), if someone really got to messing with it it could be almost any of their turbos, but I would think you would know it if it was significantly changed.
