Turbo filter

Is it ok to hook your air filter directly to the turbo?

You mean install the filter element directly to the turbo? I wouldn't do it. It would draw too much hot air from the exhaust, and if you havnt already (not that it is hard) you would have to relocate your CCV line.

Get too much underhood heat, since it's directly over the top of the engine. The best location is where it already is.
