Question 17* Oil Pump Clueless???

I have always seen people talking about this 17* oil pump and I have no idea what it really is. I have a 2003 7.3 and is this pump any different then the one I have now and would getting one otherwise help my truck any? Sorry for the dumb question but Im clueless here.

the 17* HPOP was the stock hpop on superdutys, except early 99's so your 03 has one, early 99's and OBS truck have a 15* one which is weaker. The people with the 15* one can put a 17* one in there truck for more oil pressure.

True that, your 03 is already equipped with the updated 17* pump.
