Finding remote start module?

Hey guys,
I just picked up a 99 powerstroke. Its got a ton of miles but the price was more than right.

It came with a remote start keychain. It belonged to a company and the guy said it used to work.

The remote says "Code Alarm" and looks exactly like this..



There is an antenna above the mirror attached to the inside of the windsreen that I assume belongs to the remote starter. I can not find and bypass switch or anything under the dash. I have no idea what a remote start module looks like. So Im wondering if its still in it since the remote light flashes but the truck does not respond to anything.

Where should I look?
