Shipping a bed

Anyone ever shipped a complete bed assembly? I've never shipped anything that large before and am not even sure how to go about it. It will be going from the west coast to near St. Louis, MO. Any tips or ideas will be appreciated.

Something that big will probably have to go by a trucking company. Don't know that UPS could handle that. I've never done it myself either.

Check your yellow pages for interstate trucking companies.
