In park
Where does the truck get the signal from that tells it it's in park so it will start? Is it on trans or is there a button on the column? I has to fix a few things on the column now it won't Start in park will start in neutral. I also put on a bew throttle cable. Thanks in advance

Its on the side of the transmission...Are the reverse lights working in the proper position...If so the switch may need to be replaced....You may be able to removed it and wash it out with contact cleaner...If the shift shaft seal is leaking atf in it cleaning it may fix you up....

Well I already fixed it just had to have someone hold up the shifter all the way up why I put the cable on trans
