Could I get 10k for her?

Tempted to look at a new truck, but don't know how much I could get for my current one.

2002 F350 XLT 7.3L Crew Cab 4x4 Dually

- Engine has 176k miles (was chipped with a superchip for about 100k miles)
- New oem tranny has 24k miles on it. Was given 3yr/100k mile as of 05/2009
- New tranny has not been chipped/tuned, but covered under warranty on written paper if I do happen to do it for the 3yr/100k.
- New front rotors
- New front brakes
- New waterpump
- Cam sensor replaced from recall

The truck:



As you can see the fender has a few paint chips where my tired blew out on me on interstate 4. It's not too bad, but you can see the bit of paint it took off.



The back bumper has 2 small bumps on the passenger side.



You can't see good, but it has some light scuffs where the bed meets the cab from the dog jumping out and the chain rubbed up on the truck. Also the passenger fender has some scratches on the front where it rubbed up on a fence about 7 years ago.

I'll get better pics of the fender/bed if needed. I know I listed a lot of stuff, but it's not really that bad. The scuffs on the bed are barely noticable unless you really look at the truck. A good detail with buffing the truck would probably help it some. Interior wise it's in fair condition. No holes or rips that I can think of on the seats or anything. It's 2 seats up front with the center console and a bench seat in the back.

Anyways, seen a 2008 F450 King Ranch or Lariat Crew Cab 4x4 Dually with the 6.4L in it for about 31k. It has 50k'ish miles I believe. Always wanted a 2005-2007 6.0 and put an 03 turbo on it, but I want something I can trust, so a 6.4L with the updated.

If I couldn't get 10k then I'd just keep it. Thanks for any info in advance!

I sold an 01 F-250 ext. cab short bed 4x4 w/ 186k miles about 6 mos ago for $11K. I would think you could get 10 or so for yours.

Not trade but 10K private party easy. 7.3 and 4x4 is all you shoulh have to say. Trucks like yours are going for 14-15 here.

Around Indiana it is getting hard to find good unmodded 7.3 4x4's

I paid 130000 for my 2002 cc/4x4 auto that is a virgin. getting hard to come by.

I would say yes as well. Just a selling point. I would not mention it has or had a chip in it unless the guy seems like he wants one and it would help the sale.

I think it is a good deal for south, SMOKING deal for us up here in the rust belt.... advertise it up North and see, I bet it would pull 13-15,000 up here....easily
