Deisel Innovations chip

Ok powerstroke gurus ....I talked my wife into a either 4 or 6 position chip burned and installed by Deisel Innovations. This seems to be the best way to go and more efficent than a superchip micro tuner .....I AM NOT LOOKING FOR HUGE HORSEPOWER but just somre more pep and mileage.Bear in mind this all started when my buddys 06 cummins would run off and leave my wife....she says she could hang if she beat on it but I YELL every time she does LOL. We are taking it at 8am tomorrow so you have till tonite to chime in with a yay or nay .

I ran a DI chip for a while and liked it!

2001 - 14" OUO 525 - 38x15.5x20 Toyo & 20x12 Weld Cheyenne's. Hybrids, 38R, BTS, Spearco, Terminators..

Yah i planned on just a chip.... turbo and injectors later planning out a full tranny build here soon so i can turn up my new chip when i get it.

Well my truck is bone stock except for straight pipe and zoodad . I am not looking for a 11 sec truck I am just looking for better milage and to be able to keep up with my buddys CUMMINS. I can live with his constant BS about how slow my truck is .....so my needs are real simple. A. better milage B. a little pep .......like i said before I am takin it in morning unless someone convinces me otherwise .

As long as you watch your gauges it won't lol.
Also the hotter the tune, the better gas mileage you'll get usually.

well was at Davids this morning [ he drives a cool powerstroke bronco] and had him install the chip, 4 settings TOW,DAILY,PERFORMANCE,EXTREME. So far I have driven in the daily and been happy.......might wait till I am next to my buddies Cummins to turn to the extreme setting LOL. I will report back this weekend after driving it a while .All in all a very pleasant experiance overall.
