testing my 7.3 to the max.
im about to embark on a very long road trip towing a 7k pound enclosed trailer. the trip is about 12 or so days long and running from anchorage alaska to tennessee. i will be traveling the alcan highway through canada down to tn. the average temps are between -20 to -35F. im prepped for basic emergencies so hopefully nothing goes wrong. Im excited to see the sights and ready to leave alaska so wish me luck im leaving on the 1st. cross my fingers

im takin whatever mapquest says
im not a crazy driver when it comes to being tired. i usually max 8 hours when driving on trips. getting home one day early is not worth it to me. im the only one driving, my wife is just along for the ride lol. ill post up some pics along the way. ive put an aftermarket tranny cooler and some other goodies just in case, and all maintanance is good to go. my only fear is crapping my tranny, but its in good shape though the thought is always in the back of my mind. crapping it close to home is one thing but in canada would be another.

12 days! How many miles is that? Change your oil, keep an eye on the fluids and tire pressures and go!
