air bag light question

hi, new to the forum and have a question. have read about this on the forum and decided that my bulb was burned out causing the dinger to keep dinging
so I pulled the dash and checked the bulb. bulb is fine but light doesn't work
and dinger is still dinging.Anybody got any ideas?
