new tranny question

alright so i got my new tranny in and my new hughes tc and today was the first time i pulled anything with the new set up .... well when i got home with the trailor i smell something weird and it was comin from my tranny.... not like overwelming smell just enough to notice it and it smell like...hm smelled like metel when you cut or grind it.... trailor wasnt that heavy just a 21ft enclosed with a couple quads in there.... no abnormally high temps just stays at 180 some times 185 if i gas it a little.... i figured it was since i actually put some stress on the new tranny it might be the smell of the metal in the new tranny getting broken in.... it doesnt smell anymore (after i dropped it off at storage just to the trip from there to home) is that normal or should i be concerned
