Broke down......again

well my trucks broke down for the 2nd time in 2 weeks. its doing the same thing but i know its not gelled up. it was get tin low on fuel, low fuel light turned on as i turned into gas station. turned it off. put 50 bucks in fuel in the tank. then it wouldnt start. so now its going to the dealership soon and hopefully i can get a loaner of some type or somethin to drive while its in there. i want this whole damn truck went through. my mom said shes gonna help me with maintenance bills. im just tired of this thing being more unreliable than my old dodge with shot rings and valves. what happened to 7.reliability. iye yiye yiye. just my venting again.

You ought to pick up yourself automotive engenuity! It is a great program for your laptop to help diagnose problems. It is about 320 bucks or so... But well worth it for times like this. Cheapest place I have found it is Riffraff Diesel...

yeah ive been thinking about that. for now im so fed up with this truck that i dont care how long the dealership has it as long as i can get a damn rental. or my mom can. im only 17 lol

well theres one thing good about the other dealership. the mechanic that worked on my truck before said if he had to he would come to my hosue to work on my truck if i could only get it there. hes a good guy lol

fuel pump working? fuel bowl dirty?

the fuel pump seemed to be turning on. and the fuel bowl was fine. took out the filter and everything seemed normal. it was runnign great before i shut it down to put fuel in it.

any idea what your fuel pressure is? i wonder about the pump being worn out, if that sthe case i believe a stock replacemtn is around $300, you can find them for less though.
