Surge

Hey i was wondering. What are other cheap ways to get rid of surge other than the wicked wheel. And the ats housing. I have my factory airbox with a kand n drop in filter if i got an intake will it late more air into the turbo to eliminate the surge or not thanks

The ATS housing or another turbo is your only fix. I would still get rid of that drop in K&N filter though. They are known for not sealing up in the box properly and letting dirt through.

If you install an intake, you will think that your problem has gotten much worse, the higher air flow let's the sound of the surge come back thru easier, it will be much more noticable. The only fix I know of is just what D-man said, and I have both! they are great! Add an intake to complement the whole set up!
