Ball Joints
Well won't get my new turbo till tomorrow, so I guess today, I am going to tackle the front ball joints and replace them. I have some popping going on during slow turns and truck has 125K miles so it is time. How hard are they to get out without the removal tool??? Or do I have to have it?? Thanks guys!!

You can pound them out with a hammer, but you need to have the new ones pressed in with the tool. You will also need the tool to press your seals on. I seen where some people made there own out of a round flange and pipe, but not sure of the dimensions. Maybe the techs can give you the dimensions to make your own.
