Batteries?

IS anyone else getting tired of crapping walmart batteries that last 2 years? Whats another good battery to use. I'm thinking of going with Optima red top, Just not sure of cranking amps. I'd like 1000 crank & at least that in cold cranking Anyone using these battieries? any advice on which ones to get. I had a hard time crank my truck over this past weekend since it was cold & I'm almost postive I have a few gp's out. But after that episode. those batteries just aren't the same. they won't make it much longer. and seems like every 2 years i'm replacing batteries. Need something that will last.

I use the red tops and haven't had any issues. I got tired of fighting corrosion and I've been happy ever since

Try the Yellow Tops (the "reds" are the cheap ones) the best price I found is at a place called Battery Giant for $125 + $30 shipping on the D34's

D34-78-YT $124.95 at Battery Giant

I would have loved to get those D31A's in but they're almost 10 inches Tall (they'd be sticking out of my hood )

Yah the only pain is one always dies first. They won't replace them in pairs under warrenty but the one ussually goes with in a week or so.
